On May 2, the local chapter of the American Lung Association hosted its 32nd annual Women of Distinction Awards Luncheon, celebrating the lives and work of women who have distinguished themselves within their families, careers, and communities. All proceeds from the luncheon go to funding medical research, advocacy, and education for the American Lung Association.
